Celebrating 250 Years!
Welcome
Welcome to Stephens City. Amid the bustling expansion of Frederick County south of Winchester you will discover a quaint historic oasis with lush rural scenery full of small-town hospitality and a big “You-all come” to visit or stay awhile attitude. Stephens City offers residents and visitors alike an opportunity to enjoy a gentler pace of the small-town living yet with all the amenities of the world has to offer only a short drive away.
Established in 1758 Stephens City is the second oldest town in the Shenandoah Valley. We cherish our historic and cultural heritage and celebrate them annually with a spring time festival. Plans to expand and grow, as we must, include efforts to preserve these resources. Through planning the town proves that it cares about the past and also the future.
I invite you to come join with us and celebrate the best time of all- the present.
